About Chase
Welcome!
My name is Chase Long, I’m a personal trainer operating in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire and Southern Maine! I’ve been enthralled by the body and it’s magic ever since my mother semi-forced me at 13 years old into signing a 3 month contract with her to do the P90-X program. In exchange for not having to swim competetively that winter, I begrudgingly became acquainted with the practice of resistance training. Little did we both know that winter would launch a life-long fascination with the amazing capability each of our body’s hold within!
Over the years, I have developed my training, both for myself and for others, around the tenets of Health, Strength, and Mobility. There are thousands upon thousands of ideologies to apply to exercise, and some may serve you better than others. When we work together, it is my goal to apply the appropriate methods of science in the most reasonable manner to progress you towards the life you want to lead. Take the load of guessing off yourself, I’ll handle that as long as you bring the energy and effort to drive forward.
Check out the Sessions Template tab to get an idea of what option may suit you best. There is an ideal schedule and effective route of training for everyone out there. Whether it’s recovering from a surgery or injury, escaping the couch and life-style of inactivity, taking it to the next level to reach your desired heights, or simply wanting to live an able and strong life amidst all your other responsibilities, we can accomplish that through concise, consistent training.
Thank you for taking the time to read, I’m really looking forward to getting to know you more and seeing how exercising with purpose can benefit your life!
Health. Strength. Mobility

We all deserve to live Healthy lives centered around the efficiency and soundness of our metabolism. Avoiding disease and injury, feeling energized rather than chronically fatigued, managing inflammation throughout the body, the hurdles can seem endless. A gigantic first step is, of course, beginning to strengthen your body physically. However, often times, the Health portion of our training concerns itself with how we spend the majority of our days outside the gym. Daily activity levels, eating habits, sleeping patterns, environmental concerns all play a significant role in our health that many of us are unaware of. Not anymore, lets talk about what may be limiting you and what we can do about it!

Being strong means to be able to crawl, walk, sprint, jump, swim, or climb through life and all the obstacles we encounter without the fear of breaking down along the way due to a lack of physical and mental strength. We all deserve to strive towards our goals, play with the little ones in our life, and generally be fit enough to pursue the spontaneity of adventure that life provides. Without Strength, we find ourselves getting hurt and not being able to enjoy the family outings, hikes on a beautiful day, and really being limited as to what we can enjoy about life depending on how physically strenuous it is. That’s a life half-lived if you ask me, and I earnestly want to see everyone be able to love their experience of this life without having to pause for thought about if they can.

Mobility ties right into Strength and, more plainly, means being flexible and pliable enough to take life as it comes. It’s avoiding chronic aches and pains from “tight” or weak muscles throughout the day job, being able to bend down to grab something and not throw your back out, waking up and heading right into your day without an hour of loosening up first. Some people are really strong, but can’t get off a low stool or lift their arms above their head. Working on your mobility means improving the ranges of motion you can safely reach both in exercise and out in the world, expressing how strong you truly are without being literally held back by your soft tissue.
Healthy, Strong, and Mobile. To me, those three encapsulate a body and mind that can achieve whatever it sets out after. Without all of those working together, somewhere along the line we may run into issues that severely set us back due to an injury or health concern. The most beneficial part about working on these tenets is that, along the way, it is inevitable for one’s mind to grow stronger as well. More pliable in perspectives, stronger in handling adversity, healthier in managing stress and enjoying the happiness of life. We work on far more than the body here at Long Personal Wellness, and I’m excited for you to come experience it. Who knows, maybe you can have your morning coffee at the bottom of a split and not think twice about it one day!
